The summer event is an opportunity for Jisc members to learn more about how AI is benefiting learners and educators, and to engage with the work of the national centre for AI in tertiary education.
Who should attend?
This event is open to any Jisc member who is interested in the applications of AI in education. Whether you’re a seasoned AI adopter or at the beginning of your AI journey, please join us to learn more about how education can benefit from artificial intelligence.
Your organisation must be a Jisc member to attend this online event.

Summer event opening
In this session, the national centre for AI in tertiary education will kick off the Summer Event, and provide an overview of their work to date and their plans for the future.
Utilising chatbots in education
In this panel session, you’ll hear from members who have been using chatbots in their context. We’ll explore the motivations, impacts and practicalities of utilsing these innovative tools.
Lunch
Innovating teaching, learning and skills with AI
In this session, you'll learn about the exciting AI products that the national centre has been exploring this year. Hear from Manjinder Kainth, CEO and Co-Founder of Graide, and Christophe Mallet, CEO and Co-Founder of BodySwaps, about how their innovations are helping to enhance teaching, learning and skills.
Deep Dives
The national centre for AI in tertiary education launched the Deep Dive series in order to understand the underlying problems faced by the sector, and thus identify where AI could have the greatest impact. In this session, you’ll learn more about the Deep Dive process.
