About

IHS ESDU, now part of S&P Global, provides subscription-based validated and authoritative design data and methods for Aerospace, Chemical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil and Structural Engineering plus Environmental & Materials Science.

Significantly used internationally, it is widely considered to be the most accurate, up-to-date and comprehensive collection of validated data and methods of its kind.

All documents, software, data and design methodology published by IHS ESDU are validated by committees of unpaid, independent experts from a broad range of industrial, academic and research backgrounds.

This online event will be conducted by Dr, John Hammar, a former member of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the University of Maryland and responsible for publications and software in the Mechanisms and other IHS ESDU engineering disciplines (‘Series’).

It aims to raise awareness of content and show how its use will save Academics time and includes suggestions for curriculum inclusion, course development plus its relevance to research and contribution of industrial relevance to accreditation.

Who should attend

  • Sector members and Academics in the areas of Aerospace, Chemical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil and Structural Engineering plus Environmental & Materials Science
