Exploring virtual escape rooms in education

Virtual escape rooms have the potential to gamify the learning experience and pose exciting opportunities for teaching and learning.

In this third meeting of the digital pedagogy ideas room community for further education we will be looking at virtual escape rooms and asking:-

• What are virtual escape rooms and how are they being used across the sector?
• What digital platforms are being used to create them? What skills do you need to develop to create them?
• What are the benefits to teaching and learning?

We will be asking attendees to share their ideas on virtual escape rooms and the benefits it has brought to your learners.
