About

This is an exciting opportunity for staff and leaders in higher or further education who are responsible for developing the digital environment and the digital capability of students and staff in their organisations to come together to share:

  • Practice, ideas and issues around enhancing student, staff and organisational digital capability, particularly in the current context with a move to more online delivery.
  • Approaches to gathering students and staff expectations and experiences of technology in the current changing context.

It's also an opportunity to hear more about our building digital capability and digital experience insights services and understand how these might help you to meet your goals.

Teaching staff digital experience insights survey 2021/22

This year, 6,224 teaching staff from 60 UK FE and HE organisations participated in our annual digital experience insights survey, sharing their experiences and thoughts about the technologies they use and have access to, use of digital approaches in their teaching practice, and the support they receive for the development of their digital skills. With the FE and HE reports published at the event, this session will provide an overview of some of the key survey findings.

The truth behind the numbers: digging a bit deeper into the stories behind the statistics

What is the meaning hiding behind the data? Are we capturing the full picture?

This interactive session will highlight some interesting and surprising statistics and will use the collective expertise of the group to gather suggestions for viable, but minimal interventions, that can help to address current challenges.
