About
In our first community catch-up of the academic year we will be joined by Dr Pen-Yuan Hsing from the University of Bristol.
Pen and his colleagues have been working on a report that examines the perceptions of research culture. The report highlights why a platform such as Octopus could be integral to solving issues within research. During this session, Pen will share his interpretation of the insights gained from conversations and surveys with researchers, and how this underpins the need for change in scholarly communications.
There will be time at the end of the talk for Q&A, both on the report itself, and on how Octopus aims to facilitate change.
During the session, we will also share updates about the platform, such as our integration with publications router, and upcoming features like our “re-versioning” function.
Who should attend
