Online streaming solutions and multimedia collections available via Jisc licensing

About

This online event will provide product and content demonstrations from two multimedia content providers for learning and teaching. There will also be examples of practical uses of the content from institutions and teaching staff. All of the content providers have licences available via Jisc’s License Subscription Manager.

BFI Player

BFI Player provides all-you-can-watch access to hundreds of award-winning British, Independent and World cinema titles, in addition to an exclusive subscription-only film selection and curated collections hand-picked by the British Film Institute team, including LGBTQIA+, visionary directors and films that illuminate differing viewpoints and perspectives.

Kanopy Base

The Kanopy BASE collection, currently comprising (as of May 2023) 6,476 videos, selected by Kanopy's Content Team, to provide coverage across a wide range of academic disciplines and content types, including movies, documentaries and instructional videos.
