I’m a product manager working in the Open Research Services team within the digital resources directorate. I lead the UK ORCID Consortium and persistent identifier projects. I also support a number of projects, activities and community groups in areas such as research notebooks, research data, research information, open research, standards development, and work that supports researchers throughout the whole research lifecycle.
I actively support the work of international organisations, such as the Research Data Alliance where I co-chair the National PID Strategies Working Group and engage with international groups and projects to ensure Jisc is positioned correctly with national and international developments.
My work at Jisc has always been focused on research and I was previously senior co-design manager in research and innovation. Before that, I was programme manager for the access and identity management (AIM), virtual research environments (VRE) and research tools programmes.
Prior to Jisc, I worked for OMII-UK at the University of Southampton as user community liaison team leader. Before working in higher education, I had extensive experience in ITC including requirements gathering, software/database development, team leading and project management in the commercial sector.
