About the community

Most organisations agree that strategic workforce planning is an essential component of effective human resource management. However, very few institutions actively engage in workforce planning as part of their strategic planning rounds, and fewer have embedded workforce planning methodologies into their leadership skill sets.

There is currently little linkage between workforce planning and learning and development talent management. This community of practice aims to close that gap and support the development of skills and knowledge across the sector.
